Our relationship is with the job seeker. Therefore our investment is in your career development, helping you identify and land the right opportunity for you, rather than earning a fee for delivering a candidate that matches a specific job opening. That said, we do assist you with strategies, research, insights and preparation if you are pursuing a position through a recruiter or headhunter.
No. And any coaching firm which claims to “place” people for a fee or purports to have connections with hundreds of CEO’s, etc, is a firm of which you should be highly suspicious. Our services focus your activities so you uncover and connect with good leads that are a fit for you.
Are you able to connect me with a recruiter?
I invite all Wooden Group clients to connect with not only my LinkedIn group but also to my personal LinkedIn profile. Once there you can look through my numerous recruiter connections to locate ones which match with your interests.
What’s the unadvertised job market?
Simply put, most opportunities are often quietly circulated through networks rather than through job seekers’ web sites or the classifieds. Resourceful, networked people are able to connect with this information and develop relationships that lead to interviews.

As a recent grad why should I pay you when my college already has a placement office?
